Uniting the exciting sport of Show Jumping in Canada from coast to coast, the KUBOTA CUP CANADIAN SHOW JUMPING SERIES premiered in 2005, providing a national competitive circuit to showcase the talents of Canadian equine athletes and riders.
The Kubota Cup Series is comprised of six Equestrian Grand Prix qualifier events, hosted in each of Canada’s premiere market regions, divided into Western and Eastern Conferences. Canadian horse and rider teams accumulate Series points towards their regional conference Championships and vie for a coveted invitation to the year end, National Finals.

Twenty, top, national qualifying horse and rider teams are invited to the National Finals to compete and share in a $100,000 National Finals’ prize purse. Fueling the drive for competitive excellence and outstanding performance throughout the Kubota Cup season, and at the National Finals, are many enthusiastically contested, additional awards and prizes. |

The KUBOTA CUP CANADIAN SHOW JUMPING SERIES is formatted as a promotional campaign, to raise awareness of the challenging, Olympic sport of show jumping and Canadian, equine athletes and rider teams in Canada and throughout the world. Having developed an enthusiastic national media following, the progress of each horse and rider team is well documented and reported, as they move from city to city and courageously rise to the challenge of formidable, Grand Prix level jumps, on the road to the National Finals. TV cameras capture the thrills, spills, victories and disappointments of rookies, veterans and their high performance, equine partners with a “straight from the horse's hoof”, real life, show ring and behind the scenes production of the 13 part Television Series, Along For The Ride. Airing on national broadcast television, Along For The Ride is also available for purchase on line and in DVD format at retail stores.
